The concept of Hangin' started a few years ago, when my partner and I moved into a new home. Storage space was limited, and we didn't want to clutter the place up by getting more wardrobes. We wanted our home to have a clean, modern look. This inspired me to design a rack that could be used to display my favourite clothes, make more room in the wardrobes and make it easier to choose what to wear in the morning. For more than 70 years, my family has been running a small factory making paper roller stands for the retail industry. Knowing the processes, I started to get a feeling for how we could actually make the rack. I called my father - the master inventor - and told him about my idea. He laughed, as he always does, then took my drawings and used them to create the first prototype. It's been in my bedroom ever since.
I'm very proud of it. It's had a lot of compliments: quite a few people have asked me where I got it from, and where they might get one. So, I decided to make more of them. This time round, I made them together with my father and my partner. We're very excited to share them with you, and we hope you like them as much as we do.
